The Neisse Region Experience Days – “Be a Guest in Your Own Homeland” – invite you to discover your region anew from April 11th to May 10th, 2026. Numerous institutions in the Neisse Region will open their doors and offer exclusive insights, exciting guided tours, and hands-on activities for all ages. Many events are free of charge, while some require a small participation fee. From May 1st, 2026, the nature conservation center will open its doors and offer overnight accommodation for groups of up to 50 people. This will create a special place for nature experiences, environmental education and community gatherings in the heart of a unique landscape.

The subsequent hike into the adjacent pond area leads us into an exceptionally biodiverse natural landscape. Here we discover the impressive variety of native animal and plant species and learn more about the current challenges in nature conservation. Listen to the atmospheric chorus of frogs and be enchanted by the multifaceted birdlife – a nature experience for all the senses.
